RCCDSB ALGONQUIN LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This Land Acknowledgement may be respectfully used: We are gathered here today on the traditional, unceded territories of the Algonquin Nation and we are grateful to be able to live, learn, pray and share with all creation on these lands.

For formal occasions, this Land Acknowledgement may be respectfully used:

We welcome everyone in the spirit of reconciliation and building positive relationships. Today we acknowledge the lands on which we are gathered as those of the unceded territory of the Algonquin Nation. In mutual respect and understanding we bring our bodies, minds and spirits as gifts that are given to us from the Creator to honour our children for generations to come.
