Online Resources

The Ontario Educational Resource Bank contains worksheets, lesson plans and interactive learning objects that match K-12 expectations in the Ontario curriculum.  It also contains all of the units developed for the online high school courses provided by e-Learning Ontario.

EBSCOHOST, INFOTRAC, Teen Health and Wellness, EUREKA.CC and Career Cruising are provided by Knowledge Ontario through a project called Resource Ontario.

The EBSCOHOST Research Centre provides powerful search access to a wide variety of magazines, newspapers, books, encyclopaedias, country reports, maps, flags and much more! It even contains an Auto repair Reference Center!

INFOTRAC allows you to PowerSearch Gale magazines, journals, books, news services and additional data bases.  The multimedia tab allows you to listen to recorded audio broadcasts related to your search criteria. Includes kids infoBits!

EUREKA.CC provides access to 11 sources of Francophone articles on current affairs and 18 daily papers from across Ontario.

Career Cruising is a fully bilingual database designed to help students and others plan their future.  It contains exceptional assessment tools, detailed occupation profiles, and comprehensive post-secondary information on colleges, universities and training opportunities across Canada.

The Canadian Encyclopedia is considered the most comprehensive, objective and accurate source of information on Canada for students, readers and scholars across Canada and throughout the world. It is made available online by the Historica Foundation as a public service.
