The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board is planning now for the 2021-2022 school year, with several changes in senior staff positions across its community of schools.
“We’re pleased to announce these staff redeployments to ensure a very strong team and a successful school year ahead,” stated Mark Searson, RCCDSB Director of Education.
Maureen McHale Enright, currently Principal of St. James Catholic School in Eganville, will become Principal of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Arnprior.
Erik Lemke will move to the role of Principal at St. James Catholic School from his position as Vice Principal (VP) at Bishop Smith Catholic High School (BSCHS) in Pembroke.
Julia Graydon will become a Principal of School Effectiveness as well as Principal of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Virtual School, and Julie Dumouchel will replace her as Principal of St. John Bosco, Barry’s Bay.
The Principal of Our Lady of Grace, Westmeath, in the fall will be Sally Douglas who is currently the VP at St. Francis of Assisi, Petawawa.
St. Francis of Assisi Principal Scott Nichol also will take on a new role as Principal of School Effectiveness and Valleycrest School.
Karen Keels will become the next Principal at St. Francis of Assisi, Petawawa, and Rory Donohue will replace her as Principal of Our Lady of Fatima, Renfrew.
Tony Jacyno will make the move from Principal at Our Lady of Sorrows, Petawawa, to Principal of St. Thomas the Apostle, Renfrew, and Dave Noble will become the Principal at Our Lady of Sorrows.
In other redeployments, Ruth McNulty will move to Principal of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Calabogie from her current role as VP at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Arnprior, and Pam Dickerson will transition from the VP role at St. Joseph’s High School, Renfrew, to Principal at St. Michael’s Catholic School in Douglas.
At the secondary level, Julie Huckabone will become the new Principal of Bishop Smith Catholic High School and Katie Scott, currently VP at Our Lady of Sorrows, will become a VP at BSCHS.
“These individuals have all demonstrated strong leadership skills within our Catholic system as well as an ongoing commitment to the academic achievement, well-being and spiritual growth of our students,” added Searson.
